We have just a few short days until the start of our 2016 season! All weighted football players and field cheerleaders should be on the field at the reserve by 6:00 pm this Monday, August 8th. There will be a brief meeting for football parents under the pavilion at 6:00 and a brief meeting for cheer parents on the field by the fence at 6:00. This is the time to ask questions. Please do not pull a coach away from practice between 6:00-8:00 to ask questions. Coaches will also be available at pick up to answer questions.
Flag football and cheer will begin on Monday, August 15th at the Reserve. Parents and players of flag football should meet at 6:00 on the top grass field to the left of the parking lot. Flag cheerleaders should meet on the turf field.
Please have your child prepared on the first night by bringing your physical form which can be found on our website under documents & forms, wear appropriate practice clothing and bring plenty of water.
If you have not yet made your registration payment there will be a table on the field in front of cheerleading. All payments can be handed in at the table.

In the event that practice or a game were to be canceled by rain we would contact you 2 ways. First, we ask that you sign up for rainedout.com so that you can receive an alert right to your cell phone. Follow these directions:
Go to Rainedout.com
In the find your organization box type in Haverford Youth Football
then hit search
Under preferred results Haverford Youth will be listed in blue click on it
In the blue box enter your cell number no spaces or dashes and then click agree
and click start sign up
You will immediately be texted a validation code to your cell phone enter that code in the blue box and click validate code
Second, we will send out an email from HYF&C to whichever email you used to register your child.
We also will post any cancelations on our website homepage.

Did you know that HYF&C is run completely by volunteers? All coaches volunteer an average of 136 hours over the 12 week season. HYF&C has over 250 children in our program and we are asking all parents to become more involved in making it an even greater atmosphere for our players and cheerleaders. Please consider volunteering for one of our Board positions, helping as a snack shack manager or becoming a team parent! Most of these positions take up very little time but make a huge impact!
We realize that there are many opportunities and organizations in Havertown for your child to become involved with. We want you to know that we’re dedicated to making their experience at HYF&C a positive, happy, fun learning environment that they will always remember.

Hello HYF&C Families,
We're very excited to announce that we will be having our end of year banquet to celebrate the great job all of our players and cheerleaders did this season. The league will be paying the cost of all players, cheerleaders and head coaches registered during our 2015 season. All family members are invited to attend as well. The cost is $30 per person, children 4 and under are free.

Date: January 10th 2016
Time: 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm
Includes lunch, sundae bar, photo booth and a few surprises!
Pre-registration by January 6th is required to attend the banquet. Simply go to our website http://haverfordyouthfootball.assn.la/ and click to registration on the left hand side. There is a registration for players and a separate registration for family members. Payment can be made the day of the banquet or mail all checks to:

- Take Route 1 South until the PA-841 (West Grove) exit.
- Turn left at the end of the ramp onto Chatham Road/ PA-841 South
- Go approximately 4/10ths of a mile and turn right at the "T",
and continue to follow PA-841 South (also known as Evergreen Street)
- Travel through traffic light and continue approximately 1/2 mile to a 4-way stop.
- Turn right onto Guernsey Road and continue approximately 1/4 of a mile
- Turn right onto W. Harmony Road
- The field will be on the right.
Note: Additional parking is across the lot at the West Grove United Methodist Church, and access to the lot is off of Guernsey Road.
